For
coalitions in California, one of
their toughest challenges is
fighting the widely-held perception
that smoking marijuana is harmless.
With the media often trivializing
the harm of marijuana to youth and
their families, three coalitions in
San Diego County decided to join
forces on a countywide initiative to
reverse community norms on marijuana
use. During a workshop at CADCA´s
National Leadership Forum in
February, these coalitions will
share their strategies and explain
how they can be used in other
communities.
