Tracks to Success

In-Kind Contributions: Definitely a Worthwhile Investment
Many nonprofit organizations are faced with what might be considered a happy problem: how to get the most out of the in-kind contributions made to them. Leveraging these non-cash gifts can stimulate a new way of presenting organizations to potential grantmakers and donors. Perhaps unsurprisingly, ninety percent of nonprofits that benefit from in-kind contributions do not document those contributions. This short series will address this issue, as well as discuss policies and procedures even the smallest nonprofit should have in place to deal with non-cash gifts. To read the first article, “Getting the Most out of In-Kind Contributions,” visit the GrantStation website.
