Worked on the "battle plan". Will
meet media release timelines. Senior parents from PAHS will provide
refreshment. Judy will do a book signing at the event. There
will be room for some exhibits in the foyer. Diana will be sending out
e-mail registration for space. Decided to sell tickets instead of
lengthy registration. Ease and greater selling ability was a key
factor in this decision. Clallam County Community Network will pick up
the rental fee for the auditiorium. Jane is working with Tom from PASD
and the C3N on this. Will advertise regionally with major emphasis on
Clallam County. Set Agenda/Program for event. The "cellar
dwellers" will work on drafting of ticket and newspaper insert.
Hope to have tickets ready by the 18th. of January to sell at home visitor
summit.
Will need PW volunteers to help at the
event...handing out programs, manning PW table, etc. If you can't make
a planning meeting let one of the above folks know if you would be willing
to briefly lend a hand. This is a huge part of what Prevention
Works! is all about and we need all the support we can get from our
members...
Next Meeting January 23rd. 9 AM Clallam
County Health and Human Services Offices
