Visiting Committee 10-5-01 We
Have A Date!!! The 3rd. Annual Home Visitors Summit will be held on Friday
January 18th. 2002.... The
focus of the summit will be providing home visiting services to native
american families...Lorraine Brave will be the keynote speaker and we hope to
arrange for a panel of local tribal members to discuss specific strategies for
our area.... Florence
has okayed the use of the county prevention admin. staff to assist with making
packets, copying, collating and etc. Jessica
is working on coordinating facility and food as well as any other loose ends
that may come up.. Diana
and her staff will work on "surprise" for participants
attending the summit. At
the next meeting we will decide who will be the official registrar and work on
the registration/program descriptions/agenda and how best to distribute to
whom and by when. Next
meeting will be Monday Nov. 5th. @ 8:30 AM @ Bonny's Bakery....All are
invited....
