Community Coalition
Present: Mel, Jane, Diana, Nancy,
Nita, Brenda
Even with the snow in the east end we
were able to come up with an AGENDA for the next Prevention Works!
General Membership meeting.
Agenda will include:
Discussion and Nominations for Executive
Committee...there are 3 or 4 slots available.
Committee Reports
Strategic Planning Committee- proposal
for 2002-2003
Parent Education Committee
Home Visiting Committee- Summit
evaluation reports
Family Friendly Business Committee-
Membership Committee
Keys
Rock and Roll
Program: Member agencies will be asked
for brief overview of what they are doing in the domains of the mission
of the Coalition
The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday Feb.
5th. from 11:30-1:00 at the Clallam County Juvenile Services facility
located at 1912 W. 18th in Port Angeles. Telelinking to the West
End will be available.
There was also discussion about the
upcoming annual meeting/retreat...want to Make Things Happen and Not
Rehash what has already been done...look at continuum of care and be
CREATIVE..Define and possible Redefine the Purpose of the Coalition....
Special invitations will be issued to
members who have not regularly attended...want to be as encompassing as
possible...Everyone has a voice but you need to be there to be heard!!!
