   MOPS - Mothers of Preschoolers Meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Forks Assembly of God Church. Call Lisa at 374-6809 if you have questions. Childcare is provided.

     Sunshine & Rainbows Parenting Class, Tuesdays from 11 a.m-1 p.m. Childcare and lunch provided. Call 374-9024 if you have questions.

     Basic Beginnings Learning Center - Monthly Parent Education Meetings with parent educator provided by Peninsula College. Multi-age preschool program for children birth to 5 years old; meets once-a-week. Parents rotate working in the class with the children’s teacher. Monthly tuition and college credits. Contact Kim McIrvin 374-6850.

     Parenting Wisely - Online class for parents of children ages 8-18. Learn skills proven to help with school and homework issues, chores, drug and alcohol use and family conflict. Any computer with internet access can be used. It is about 4 1/2 hours of instruction that can be done as your schedule allows within one month's time. Qualifies for 5 hours of continuing education for Foster Parents. Sponsored by Clallam County Community Network and Parenting Matters Foundation. Suggested Donation $20.      Sequim Pre-Three Cooperative -  A weekly group for parents and children 10 months to 3 years old, with Parent educator provided by Peninsula College. Weekly Discussion with Parents. Parents rotate working in class with children's teacher. Obtain college credits. Tuition is paid every 3 months. Scholarships available. For more information contact Heidi Krzyworz at 582-0287.

     First Step Drop-In, Monday through Thursday 1:00-4:00 p.m. 325 E 6th Street, Port Angeles, 457-8355. There is fun equipment to play with, books available to check out, videos to view on child development, visit with other parents, check out free clothing and equipment closet, get information and referrals when needed.

     M.O.P.S. is open to women of all ages who are expecting or already have children 0-6 years.
