Overview - Table of Contents

Introduction

The Washington State Healthy Youth Survey (HYS) and the Communities that Care (CTC) survey are conducted in participating school districts throughout Washington State in order to collect information on health behaviors, substance use and related risk and protective factors.  For the first time in 2004, every school district in Clallam County participated in a youth behavior survey. The combined results of these surveys present a county-wide picture of the health behaviors of the youth in Clallam County.
