The Olympic Christian Preschool program offers a loving, joyful environment with a classical style academic curriculum in a Christian setting. Our curriculum includes hands on learning in math, literacy, language, science, Bible, music, art and imaginative play with an added emphasis on gross and fine motor skills. Our goal is to prepare children for Kindergarten, including independent problem solving, counting, sorting, sequencing, to full alphabet visual and phonetic recognition.

Our Typical Day:
Transition Time: Puzzles, journaling, and fine motor skill activities give students structure to the start of their day.
Free Play & Center Time: This is a time for socialization in an imaginative way. Art center, blocks, reading nook, writing center, dramatic play, light table and sensory items are available for exploration.
Worship & Bible Time: We sing, memorize scripture, and use Godly Play methods to act out Bible stories. Students have the opportunity to share what they liked, what God did, and what they wonder about the lessons.
Discovery & Exploration Time: Large and small group activities delve more deeply into science, math, literature, art and music topics.
Outdoor Play & Nature Exploration: Time spent outside allows students to learn about the Earth while developing social and gross motor skills.
Field Trips: Pumpkin Patch, Marine Life Science Center, and Kindergarten Class Tour.
Opportunities to Sing & Perform: Christmas Program, Olympic Christian School Chapel services, and Preschool Graduation.
